Comparison Is the Thief of Joy!

Have you ever compared yourself to others? Yes, we all have. How do you feel after you compare yourself...

You are unique. There has never been another you, and never will be. So, make the best of yourself." Olianna Portnoy

COMPARISON IS THE THIEF OF JOY!!

Have you ever compared yourself to others? Yeah, we all have. How do you feel after you compare yourself to someone? I know for me, I feel my confidence slipping, I feel a nasty gut punch and I suddenly feel a little unworthy. I trust you have felt the same. So, I have an idea. Let’s just stop. Let’s stop allowing our joy to be robbed from us. It’s a choice. Comparison is the thief of joy. I choose joy. If you start choosing joy, your entire life will begin to shift and you will start experiencing the life that you were designed for.

Let me speak some truth for a moment..what I like to call a truth nugget. I have a little secret for you ladies. There will always be someone that you will be tempted to compare yourself to. Now let me tell you another secret. It doesn’t matter how great someone appears, they have struggles and insecurities and they are most likely facing some of the very problems you are facing. We don’t know that because some people are private about their problems, some aren’t vulnerable enough to share their struggles. But the truth is…every single human being walking this planet has struggles and problems and challenges. We are all a bit naive to think that they are without struggles.

I beg you to know and understand something...there is no one like you...you are unique and capable of living the life you dream of. When you start to compare yourself, just stop. I'm serious, just stop, close your eyes and remind yourself that you are amazing. You were put on this planet for a reason, a purpose. A massive purpose. Don’t hinder yourself from finding that purpose by comparing yourself to others.

I Choose Joy Vow

Today I choose joy. I choose to stop comparing myself to others. I choose to punch comparison in the jugular and remind myself daily that I am enough and I am unique. (Insert punching emoji)
